A handlebar phone holder keeps directions and ride figures where a glance finds them, instead of stopping to dig the phone out of a pocket. Clamp-style holders, like the Lamicall, Babacom and GREFAY here, grip almost any phone between padded arms and fit it in seconds. Case systems, like Quad Lock and SP Connect, hold nothing on their own: the phone goes in the maker’s own case (or, with Quad Lock, a universal adaptor), which then locks onto a small, neat mount.
Before choosing, check two sizes. The phone with its case on has to fit the holder’s range, thickness included, and the clamp has to fit the bar or stem where it will sit, so measure the diameter there. A case system costs more once the case is added, but the mount stays small and light, and the phone comes off quickly at every stop.
