A portable power station is a big rechargeable battery with mains sockets, so it runs what a generator would, without the noise or the fumes. Campers use them for lights, fridges and cooking; at home they keep the router and a laptop going in a power cut.
Size is the main decision. Smaller units around 300Wh suit phones, lights and a laptop; around 1,000Wh runs bigger kit, like a camping fridge or a microwave, for longer. All five here use long-lasting LiFePO4 batteries, and most refill from a wall socket in about an hour.

DJI Power 1000 Portable Power Station (1024Wh)

The strongest steady output here at 2,200W, and with DJI's charging cables (sold separately) it fast-charges Mavic 3 and Air 3 drone batteries out in the field. DJI says it recharges at as little as 23dB, quieter than most fridges.
What owners say: Owners praise how quickly it charges and how easy it is to move around, and rate it highly overall.
Heads up: DJI now also sells a Power 1000 V2; this original version is still on sale from DJI and costs much less on Amazon.
