The top 5 at a glance
A wireless charger passes power to the phone through a coil under its surface, so the phone has to sit over that spot to charge. Chargers come as flat pads or as stands that hold the phone upright with the screen in view, and magnetic versions cling to an iPhone 12 or later, or another Qi2 phone, and line themselves up.
None of these comes with a wall plug, and the USB adapter you pair one with decides how fast the phone charges. The stands without magnets work with any phone that charges wirelessly, Androids and older iPhones included. The magnetic chargers here also charge an AirPods case that supports wireless charging.
What matters
- Qi or Qi2 certification, rather than a vague fast-charging claim.
- A cable long enough to reach from the outlet to the bed.
- How thick a case it charges through, or a MagSafe case.
- A light that dims at night, for the nightstand.

#1Apple MagSafe Charger (2 m, 2025)
$30–$50
Apple’s own magnetic charger snaps onto the back of an iPhone 12 or later and charges at up to 25W on an iPhone 16, 17 or Air with a 30W adapter, and up to 15W on older MagSafe iPhones. The 6.6 ft cable reaches from the outlet to the bed or the couch, so the phone can stay in hand while it charges.
What owners say: Fast charging and a grip that survives a knock or two win the most praise. It can run hot for some, durability divides owners, and a handful find the finish nicks and scratches easily.
Heads up: There’s no plug in the box: Apple’s 30W USB-C adapter, sold separately, unlocks the 25W speed.
A closer look: An iPhone 8 to 11 still charges on it, at up to 7.5W but without the magnetic hold, so center the phone. A MagSafe case, or none, gives the firmest grip, while thick or metal-backed cases get in the way. The cable is built in, so a frayed one means a new charger.

#2Anker 313 Wireless Charger Stand (10W)
$10–$20
It charges a phone standing up, so messages and Face ID work at a glance, and turned sideways it holds the phone for a video. It’s Qi-certified and charges through cases up to 2.5mm thick. Anker was started in 2011 by Steven Yang, who had been an engineer at Google.
What owners say: Plug it in and it just works, which is what most owners value, and it slots into the daily routine. Speed and which phones it suits vary from owner to owner, and some had theirs give up inside a month.
Heads up: For its full 10W it needs a 9V/2A Quick Charge adapter, and Anker warns against powering it from Apple’s 5V/1A cube or a computer’s USB port.
A closer look: On an iPhone 12 or later the camera bump can stop the phone lining up with the coil, so turn it sideways if it won’t start. Take off any case with a magnetic plate, metal ring or cards in the back, as those block wireless charging.

#3Anker MagGo Qi2 Wireless Charger Stand (360°)
$30–$50
A magnetic Qi2 stand that charges at up to 15W and turns a full 360°, so the phone clicks on upright for FaceTime or sideways for a show, and tilts back to the angle you want. Swing the charging head flat and it charges AirPods in a wireless case too.
What owners say: Quick charging, a tidy look and a firm magnetic grip earn it praise, and one owner uses it with a Pixel 10 Pro XL, though another’s S25 Ultra wouldn’t charge on it. A few find the phone keeps swiveling on the rotating head, and some question whether a stand should cost this much.
A closer look: Next to the bed it doubles as a clock: turned sideways, an iPhone can show StandBy while it charges. Anker advises a USB-C Power Delivery adapter of 25W or more to run it, so an old phone cube from the drawer won’t do.
- Rotates 360° and tilts
- Head folds flat for earbuds
- Doubles as a bedside clock
- Needs a 25W USB-C adapter
- 24-month warranty

#4Anker Zolo Magnetic Wireless Charger (Qi2, 2-pack)
$20–$30
Two Qi2 magnetic pads in one box, so there’s one by the bed and one on the desk or in the travel bag. Each charges at up to 15W, snaps onto an iPhone 12 or later and has a 5 ft cable with a tie for tidy packing.
What owners say: A strong magnetic hold and nothing to set up are the highlights, with Apple and Samsung phones working well, though one Pixel 10 owner had no luck. Charging speed and how long the pads hold up are mixed, and some phones get very warm on them.
A closer look: Pair each pad with a 20W or stronger USB-C wall adapter for the full 15W; Anker quotes about 19 minutes to take an iPhone 16 Pro Max to 20%, handy before heading out. AirPods with a wireless charging case work on a pad as well, so one can be the earbuds’ spot overnight.
- Cable tie for packing
- Temperature guard while charging
- Needs a 20W USB-C adapter
- 24-month warranty

#5INIU 15W Wireless Charger Stand
$10–$20
Two charging coils mean the phone charges wherever it sits on the stand, upright or sideways, and the light dims in the dark so it won’t keep a light sleeper awake.
What owners say: Owners are pleased with its everyday charging. Speed and case compatibility are hit and miss, though, and a number of buyers saw theirs die after a week or within a few months.
A closer look: It sets its speed to suit each phone, up to 15W on some Androids and 7.5W on an iPhone, so it works as the shared charger in a house full of different phones. A flashing light means it has found a coin or keys on the stand, so clear them off.
- Charges upright or sideways
- Light dims in the dark
- Charges through 4mm cases
- Flashes when it finds metal
- Qi-certified
